    Susan Sontag wrote that everything exists to end in a photograph.  She made the argument to say that we now use photography as a way to legitimize experience and how easily it can become a form of 'mental pollution'.  For me, that idea of mental pollution manifests itself in the immense catalogs of Photographers who seem to value haste over discretion.  What I hope comes through in my photographs is a strict adherence to the basic rules of photography and a selection of works that reflects a strong curation of only my very favorite photographs.
